Samaritans aims to benefit society by improving people’s emotional health in order to create a greater sense of well being. Apart from being a 24-hour source of support on the telephone, by email, by letter or face to face, we also work in the local community, visiting:

00am weekdays, 2.00pm to 2.00am weekends - everyday of the year. Outside of this time a message can be left which the call team will reply to within 24 hours. A caring, highly skilled and dedicated team, who provide emotional support, independent information and impartial advice, staff the lines.
