Engelsea Brook Chapel and Museum of Primitive Methodism

Outside, on the front wall, a series of foundations stones commemorate the major contributors. The collection of books, memorabilia and artefacts from the early days of the denomination complements the chapel in portraying this new force in English religious life. Our Flames of Life Project, recently completed, illustrates the emphases of life for the Primitive Methodist.

The Crewe Heritage Centre

The Centre is home to 3 signal boxes; Crewe North Junction, Crewe Station A and Exeter West as well as the last surviving Advanced Passenger Train (BR Class 370) that has sat along side the West Coast Mainline since 1992. We also have several locomotives in our ownership including D1842 (47 192), the first Class 47 locomotive to enter preservation, and also locomotives of classes Class 03 and 87.
